Leadership

A native of Valdosta, GA – Pastor Tyler J. Barrett was called into Ministry at an early age. He surrendered to the call of God on his life in 2009. In 2018, he graduated with his Master of Pastoral Leadership Degree with a Bible & Theology emphasis. Throughout his 15 years of Ministry, he has served in various ministry roles with the local church, traveled on two oversees missionary trips, boys camp counselor at Ridgecrest for Boys in Black Mountain, NC, spoken at various revivals and conferences in different states, and more! While in ministry, he also served as the Chief Financial Officer of his father’s company, Arlee, INC- Distributor of Reddy Ice for 5 years. In 2014, Pastor Barrett pioneered NorthGate Assembly of God from the ground up. He served as the Lead Pastor for 10 years, before God began to shift him into a new ministry season. On August 11th, 2024, Pastor Barrett was elected as our Lead Pastor at Victory of Albany. He has a passion to see people saved, changed, and restored by the power of the Lord Jesus Christ. He believes that the church has the only hope for our world and His name is Jesus Christ. Pastor Barrett has a vision to “Take Our City” for Jesus! Pastor Barrett married First Lady Felina B. Barrett in October of 2015. They have three beautiful children: Braylen (9), Ella (7), and Esther (4).

Pastor Barry and Trina have been a part of Victory since 1997. Over the
years, they’ve served in various ministries. Pastor Barry is an ordained
minister through the Assemblies of God.

Devaughn Lowe, a native of Albany, GA, serves as the Next Gen Director at Victory of Albany. He also teaches U.S. History to 11th graders at Lee County High School. In 2023, he got married, and together with his spouse, they share a passion for reaching and impacting the next generation.

Catrice is a native of Albany, GA and grew up at Victory of Albany. In July of 2026  she came on staff as our Worship Leader. Catrice has a passion for leading people in worship, desires to see people draw closer to the Lord, and experience Him in deepening ways.

Virginia Troup became our Director in June of 2026.
As the director of Victory Kid’s Academy, she has taken great pride in knowing that the Victory Kid’s Academy is one that strives for excellence in everything. The academy currently holds a 3 star rating, which is the highest rating within the daycare system. Her ambition is to help young children reach their highest potentials in their early years.

First Lady Felina Bordeaux Barrett is originally from California and is the granddaughter of a Persian immigrant. She accepted Jesus into her life on April 22, 2010, at the age of seventeen. She has served in ministry with her husband, Pastor Tyler Barrett since the time of their marriage on October 17, 2015. Outside of ministry, she works as an attorney at Gardner, Willis, Plaire, & Wilson, LLP. Some of her favorite things include the color pink, dressing up, girly office supplies, and extra hot coffee or tea with a delightful book.
