LENT is a season of prayer, fasting & service In preparation of Easter each year. This year Lent runs from Wednesday February 22 thru Thursday, April 6, 2023
It's a time we set aside to remember the love of God that is poured out through Christ Jesus on the cross in His death; and His defeat of death, sin and Satan in Christ's death and resurrection that brings Eternal Life for all who receive Him into our lives.
At VictoryofAlbany we ask everyone to make prayer a special emphasis during Lent and to choose (1) one thing to fast/give up for 40 days in honor to God. We also ask everyone to find ways to serve and be a blessing to others during this time.
We will be having special Prayer Services during this time and the church sanctuary & Upper Room Prayer Room will be open Monday thru Friday from 7am to 4pm for those who would like to come by and pray and seek the Lord.
